Make way for the new volleyball league in town. PVL, PSL and now CVA.
With the success of the aforementioned volleyball leagues for the professionals, there is a new league who wants to focus solely in the untapped talents of local amateur players.
Here comes the CVA or The Community Volleyball Association - a newly formed volleyball league that aims to showcase and develop the talents of Amateurs volleyball players in the country.
CVA hopes to tap the talents of young local players from a grassroot program as Highschool or Local Government Units' team playing in a high standard competition platform.
Collegiate Sports Leagues such as UAAP and NCAA typically taps high school volleyball stand-outs from well known high school in big cities or in Palarong Pambansa but it is not enough.

“We’re not planning to rival the PVL or the PSL. Gusto lang natin ipakita sa mga players na hindi lang sa dalawang liga na ito pwede silang maglaro (We just want to show to the players that there are other league aside from these two). We will develop our own talent base with the help of local government units.” |
